Rates and Levels of Care

The Wentworth Home is a Retirement and Assisted Living Home located in Dover, New Hampshire. Admission is open to individuals 60 years and older. We offer the following levels of care:

Independent — This service is ideal for the senior who finds the house and yard have become too much, remains independent in personal care, perform light housekeeping in their room, and manage their personal laundry. Laundry facilities are provided on each floor for Independent Resident’s use.

Assisted Services — This service offer more support including medication administration, housekeeping and laundry services along with reminders and light personal care assistance if needed.

Added Care (First Floor) — This service level offers our highest level of assistance including medication administration, housekeeping and laundry services, reminders and daily personal care assistance. The resident must be ambulatory on admission. Residents who have lived with us for a minimum of six months under Independent or Assisted Services and now need daily assistance with personal care are eligible for a reduced Added Care rate.

A pre-admission assessment is completed by a nurse to determine what level of care is needed.

Wentworth Home is licensed and inspected by the State of New Hampshire as a Supported Residential Care Facility.

Wentworth Home has an elevator going to the second and third floors, however, our safety regulations require that all residents on the second and third floors are able to walk down the stairs for regular monthly fire drills, and in the event of an emergency.

Respite and short-term stays costs available upon request.

* Added Care Service is available on our First Floor. Reduced Rate is offered for established residents.
