Rates and Levels of Care

The Wentworth Home, an affordable Retirement and Assisted Living Home located in Dover, N.H. is open to individuals 60 years or older. We Our assisted living facility offers the following levels of care:

Independent Living — The house and the yard have become too much, however the individual is able to care for him or her self, perform light housekeeping in their room and walk down the stairs for our once a month fire drill.

Assisted Living Services — Medication administration, housekeeping and laundry services are provided along with reminders and light personal care assistance if needed. The resident must be able to walk down the stairs for our once a month fire drill.

Added Care (First Floor) — Medication administration, housekeeping and laundry services are provided along with reminders and daily personal care assistance. The resident must be ambulatory on admission. Residents who have lived with us for a minimum of six months under Independent or Assisted Services, and now need daily assistance with personal care, are eligible for a reduced Added Care rate.

A pre-admission assessment is completed by a nurse to determine what level of care is needed.

An individual must possess income and assets to cover the cost for a five year period at the current monthly rate.

Wentworth Home is licensed and inspected by the State of New Hampshire as a Supported Residential Care Facility.

Wentworth Home has an elevator going to the second and third floors, however, our safety regulations require that all residents on the second and third floors are able to walk down the stairs for regular monthly fire drills, and in the event of an emergency.
